POUNDS was selected through a competitve bid process to build-out Medicaid Health Plans of America's (MHPA) new office at 1150 18th Street NW, a Class A office building located in downtown Washington, DC.  The plans called for a new suite entry that features a curved reception wall, slate floors, and a custom-built reception desk with a glass transaction counter.  The space contains large offices with side panels; painted accent walls; a pantry with custom cabinets and stainless steel appliances; custom-built work stations; and a drop-down accoustical ceiling.  The project had an aggressive, 5-week schedule.  POUNDS delivered the space on-time, within budget, and without disturbing the neighboring tenants on the 10th floor.  POUNDS worked with Clark Architecture to make this space a reality.
